I finished my first comic for the year!
I’m really happy with it, because I liked how I created the feeling of a hypo, with the blood sugar character and slight colours.
See here this hazy blue and white and pink effect? I really like it. Also the expression of tiredness while treating a hypo.
I’ve come to a few design decisions around my comics. From now on black and white with a tinge of colour; and the reason I’ve been blank on subject matter is because I don’t think of them as like “what happened today” kind of comics. I intend to do that from now on, because ideas just come when you do that.
Rick also thought this comic was funny.
OH also…we just had our 65″ TV installed. THANK GOD. We were so frustrated by the missing parts for the leg stands. But this is a whole lot better solution.
It actually feels good to report here and say what I’ve done. I feel a lot happier in doing that and I also think it helps me to reflect on creativity and my inner world a lot more.
